TINTSWALO MANOR HOUSE

Tintswalo Manor House is situated within the Tintswalo Concession just a short drive from Tintswalo Safari Lodge. A large thatched Manor boasting a crystal-clear blue swimming pool, deep shaded patio and traditional boma. A minimum of 6 guests are required for Manor House bookings, with a maximum capacity of 10 guests. The Manor House staff attend to all your needs. One safari vehicle, a guide and tracker are allocated exclusively to you for the duration of your stay. Downstairs, the Manor House has 3 en-suite air-conditioned twin or double bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has an optional child’s room which leads off it. Upstairs is the main double en-suite bedroom with a beautiful view of the surrounding bushveld.

Dining at the Manor House is enjoyed on the patio or in the open air boma under the awesome Manyeleti night sky. Manor House guests may enjoy the facilities of the Vital Source Spa & the Curio shop at the main Tintswalo Safari lodge.

ROYAL MADIKWE

A luxurious residence in the Madikwe Game Reserve offers a private experience for those wishing to enjoy the bush exclusively with family or friends.

The Royal Madikwe is ideal for extended families or small groups where children of all ages are welcome. It comprises four stand-alone Luxury Double Suites & one Luxury Twin Suite; each furnished with a four poster bed, mini bar, fireplace, air conditioner/heater, en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, private plunge pool and elevated sun deck. The two-bedroom Luxury Family Suite situated within the Main Lodge, consists of one twin room with en-suite shower room and an adjoining double room with en-suite bathroom.

The distinctively stylish lounge, dining room and well appointed library, lead to broad elevated decks and sweeping views of the landscape. The sparkling pool set in the garden is a wonderful place to find cool respite when relaxing at the main lodge.

The latest addition to Royal Madikwe is the Royal Suite which is a situated just a short walk from the main lodge. It is a 2-bedroom suite (one twin & one double room) with its own private lounge, kitchen and plunge pool on the communal viewing deck. This is great for smaller families wanting maximum privacy.

The lodge is built from local stone and thatch with large, spacious rooms decorated with natural materials in an Afro-colonial style. There are 5 luxury en-suite bedrooms, 3 with private balconies and a single / children’s bunk room. Having been a family home, Jembisa benefits from some extras not usually found at safari lodges, for example a library, reading room, games room and tennis court. Arrangements are flexible to suit each party’s needs. Bunk beds and cots for children are available. All bathrooms have both a shower and a bath.

Guests can swim or relax by the natural saltwater pool, enjoy a game of tennis on the floodlit court or opt for a massage either in the privacy of their bedroom or on the secluded deck overlooking the river.

The main thatched lodge includes a comfortable lounge, dining room, veranda and bar, interlinked by a sweeping wooden deck with its own rim-flow pool overlooking a waterhole. Attached to the deck, along a wooden walkway, is the boma that is set underneath an ancient fig tree after which Tuningi was named.

Little Tuningi is a part of the main lodge but can be booked as stand-alone accommodation. It has a double room and a family unit as well as a private pool and boma (for outdoor meals around the fire).
